What did we agree with Acme on yesterday’s call, and what do I still owe them?
Here’s what came out of yesterday’s pricing review with Acme.
Agreed
- Acme will move forward with the Business plan for their 40-person sales team.
- Rollout starts with the EMEA team on Nov 10, with North America following in December.
What objections came up most in my discovery calls this month?
Across your 12 discovery calls this month, three objections came up repeatedly:
1. “We already record calls in Zoom.” (7 of 12 calls)
Prospects saw recording as solved. The calls that moved forward were the ones where you shifted to what happens after the call, such as CRM updates and follow-ups.
2. Data security and AI training (5 of 12 calls)
This came up mostly from IT and legal stakeholders. In 4 of those 5 calls, the concern went away once you confirmed that customer data isn’t used to train AI models.

Questions about Wave
Still unsure? Setup guides, troubleshooting and firmware notes live at
support.meetgeek.ai.Do I need a paid MeetGeek plan to use Wave?
No. Wave ships with MeetGeek Basic, free forever. It includes 3 hours of transcription a month, unlimited AI summaries and action items, 100+ languages, AI Chat and global search. Pro and Business are there when you need more.
I already use MeetGeek. Does Wave just work?
Yes. Sign in with your existing account and pair the device. Recordings land in the same meeting library and use the summary templates and integrations you already have set up.
Does Wave work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. You set up Wave in the MeetGeek app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play.
How does it capture a phone call?
Slide the switch to Call mode and seat Wave on the back of your phone with the magnetic case in the box. It captures both sides of the call automatically. There’s no dial-in, no bot and no third party on the line.
What happens if the sync drops halfway?
It resumes on its own. The transfer picks up where it left off the next time Wave is near your phone, and the recording stays safe on the device until the transfer completes.
How long does the battery last?
About 40 hours of battery life, roughly a full week of meetings between charges. A full charge takes about 90 minutes. With 64GB of storage, Wave holds hundreds of hours before it needs to sync.
What about consent and privacy?
Consent is still your call. MeetGeek supports recording consent notifications, and you should tell people in the room before you record. On the platform side: SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA compliance, a HIPAA BAA for eligible organizations, EU or US data residency, and your data never trains our models.
Which languages does it handle?
Transcription in over 100 languages, with automatic language detection and speaker recognition. MeetGeek reports word error rates as low as 2.8% on its AI models.
Who’s behind Wave?
MeetGeek has been building AI meeting software for years, and more than 50,000 teams across 100+ countries use it. Wave is the recorder. MeetGeek is the brain it syncs to.
Your AI voice recorder is here.
Two-minute setup. MeetGeek Basic included, free forever.
