Fellow AI is an AI meeting assistant that records, transcribes and summarizes your meetings, then keeps those notes attached to a collaborative agenda. Instead of filing transcripts in a separate library, your team ends up with the agenda, notes, decisions and follow-ups in one place.
Pricing is where things get more restrictive. The Free plan gives each user 5 AI notes and 5 recordings in total. These are lifetime allowances per user rather than monthly allowances, while paid plans also limit usage and team size.
For teams that already run meetings around structured agendas, Fellow can be a strong fit. But if you want meeting intelligence to feed a broader workflow, from automated follow-ups and CRM updates to tasks, connected apps and AI-driven workflows, there are other AI note takers worth comparing before you decide.
What Is Fellow AI?
Part meeting assistant, part meeting management platform, Fellow sits somewhere between a note taker and a workspace.
Fellow can record and transcribe meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Slack Huddles. Its visible Note Taker bot works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, while the desktop app can capture those platforms, Slack Huddles and other calls without a bot.
What sets it apart is the agenda. Your team writes a shared agenda beforehand, and afterwards the notes, decisions and action items stay attached to it. If you already work from structured meeting agendas, that saves you from having to keep two documents in sync.
According to the Help Center, automatic transcription and language detection cover 100 languages. One documented gap: speaker identification in hybrid meetings is not available in Burmese, Khmer, Thai or Tibetan.
Fellow.app Is Now Fellow.ai
Fellow announced the move from Fellow.app to Fellow.ai on August 1, 2025, as part of its shift toward an AI-first meeting platform. Older Fellow.app links and reviews may still refer to earlier versions of the same product.
Worth clearing up as well: there is no connection to Fellow Products, the coffee equipment brand that also has an app called Fellow.
Fellow AI Pricing in 2026
For teams, Fellow offers four plans: Free, Team, Business and Enterprise. It also offers a separate Solo plan for individuals. The table below covers the team plans, with annual prices shown per user, per month.

Two things in that table are easy to miss. The Free plan's allowances are lifetime rather than monthly, and every tier below Enterprise limits how many people can use it.
What Do You Get With Fellow's Free Plan?
The Free plan gives each user:
- 5 AI notes
- 5 AI recordings
- 5 audio or video uploads
- a workspace of up to 5 people
None of these reset. Once someone has generated their fifth note, the Free plan has run its course for them, which makes it a good way to try the product and a difficult one to build a habit on.
Meeting notes history is also limited at this tier. Team, Business and Enterprise all include unlimited history.
Fellow's Seat Limits
Each tier also comes with a workspace limit:
- Free: 5 seats
- Team: 20 seats
- Business: 50 seats
- Enterprise: unlimited, starting at 10 users
For a growing team, this can matter as much as the monthly rate. A company of 55 people cannot stay on Business even if it needs nothing that Enterprise adds, so the cost per person jumps from $15 to $25 on annual billing.
Small teams can hit the opposite wall. Wanting one Enterprise feature still means paying for 10 users.
Security and Compliance
SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance are listed on all four plans, including Free.
Organizations that need HIPAA and BAA support, or SSO through Okta or OneLogin, should pay particular attention to Enterprise, where those features are listed on the pricing page.
The Help Center fills in detail the pricing page leaves out. Audits have run annually since 2020, the latest SOC 2 Type II report covers security and confidentiality, and data at rest is encrypted with AES 256-bit encryption. The company also states that customer meeting data is not used to train its AI models.
On where that data sits, hosting runs on Amazon Web Services in the Canada Central region. We did not find a publicly documented choice of storage region, so if your organization requires EU or US storage, confirm the available options directly.
Is Fellow AI Any Good?
There is more here than speech turned into text, and that is the appeal. The features teams tend to single out:
- Agenda-first workflow. Preparation and the record of the meeting live in the same document.
- Bot or no bot. Record with a visible participant, or quietly from the desktop app.
- Slack Huddles, alongside Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Few tools cover Huddles at all.
- 100 languages, according to the Help Center.
- Project tools: Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Trello, monday.com, Linear, Notion and Confluence.
- CRM: Salesforce and HubSpot, from the Business plan up.
- No AI training on your meeting data.
Transcription is described as having human-level accuracy, though no benchmark is published to back that up. We have not run our own tests either, so there is no accuracy figure attached to it here.
Where Fellow Is More Limited
Most of what holds it back is how the plans are built rather than the product itself.
Free runs out quickly and is hard to rely on beyond a trial. On Team, 10 AI notes per user each month covers a light schedule but not a busy one. And with seats capped at 5, 20 and 50, teams often move up a plan because they hired someone, not because they needed a new feature.
How much this matters depends on your team. Counting your monthly meetings and your headcount will tell you more than comparing entry prices.
What Fellow Users Say
Fellow has a 4.7 out of 5 rating across more than 2,400 reviews on G2. Two recent ones show the trade-off from opposite ends.
A head of marketing reviewing it on G2 in May 2026 rated it 4.5 out of 5 and picked out what happens after the call: "The way it creates tasks for you following your meetings." The same review is less keen on how the capture works, wishing the bot did not take up a whole person's space on a group call.
A customer success manager reviewing in August 2026 gave it five stars, and still had one complaint, about the bot's reliability: "sometimes it does not join calls, and you dont know."
The action-item workflow is a clear strength, while bot-based capture will not suit every meeting setup.
Fellow AI Alternatives Worth Comparing
Which alternative fits best usually comes down to why you started looking in the first place.
MeetGeek
Fellow starts from the agenda. MeetGeek starts from the conversation, and that changes where the value sits afterwards. Instead of attaching notes to a document prepared in advance, it keeps the recording, transcript and summary of every call in one searchable history, then treats that history as context for what comes next.

Fellow keeps the edge wherever the agenda is the point. Its collaborative prep, Slack Huddles support and project management integrations have no direct equivalent here, and Team starts lower at $7. MeetGeek fits better when the record of the conversation is the thing you keep going back to.
All of that depends on capturing the call first, which is what meeting recording and transcription handles on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, with or without a bot in the room.
Otter
People who wanted the transcript rather than the agenda around it tend to land here. The free Basic plan covers 300 minutes a month with a 30-minute limit on any one conversation, and unlike Fellow's Free tier that allowance resets rather than running out for good. Paid plans start at $8.33 per user per month on annual billing.

Fireflies
Worth a look if the reason you are leaving Fellow is that meeting output needs to reach a CRM rather than a project board. Fireflies leans harder on that side than either Fellow or Otter, and its free plan gives unlimited transcription with 400 minutes of storage shared across the team.
Capture works through a bot that joins the call, which takes the question of who remembered to start recording off the table, though an extra participant is not always welcome in a client meeting.
