Zoom lists the saving from annual billing as up to 16%. It charges the annual price as a single upfront payment, so the per-month figure is the yearly price divided by 12.

How Much Does Zoom Cost per Month and per Year?
On monthly billing, Zoom Pro costs $16.99 per user per month and Zoom Business costs $21.99. On annual billing, Pro comes to about $170 per user per year and Business to about $220.
Zoom charges per licensed user. Each person who schedules and hosts meetings needs a license. Participants join for free and do not need a Zoom account.

What Does Each Zoom Plan Include?

Zoom Basic (Free)
Basic is the free plan for one user. It includes:
- Meetings of up to 40 minutes with up to 100 participants;
- Local recording to your computer, with no cloud storage;
- AI note-taking with My Notes 3 times a month, summaries for 3 hosted meetings a month and 20 AI queries a month;
- Team chat, 3 editable whiteboards and 5 clips, which are short video messages of up to two minutes;
- 1 personal booking page in Zoom Scheduler.
Basic works for short, occasional meetings if you do not need cloud recording.
Zoom Pro ($16.99 per User per Month)
Billed annually, Pro comes to $14.16 per user per month. It is sold for 1 to 99 licenses. On top of Basic, it adds:
- Meetings of up to 30 hours, still with 100 participants;
- 10 GB of cloud recording storage per user, shared across the account;
- Unlimited AI note-taking with My Notes and unlimited meeting summaries;
- Unlimited clips, Zoom Mail and Zoom Calendar;
- Live chat support.
Pro removes the 40-minute cap and adds cloud recording, which are the two main reasons an individual or small team would move off Basic.
Zoom Business ($21.99 per User per Month)
Billed annually, Business comes to $18.33 per user per month. It is sold for 1 to 250 licenses and adds:
- Up to 300 participants per meeting;
- Company branding, vanity URLs and a custom mail domain;
- Single sign-on (SSO) and managed domains;
- Zoom Scheduler and unlimited whiteboards;
- Multi-region storage and device management.
Business makes sense when you need more than 100 people in a meeting, or when IT needs SSO and central control of accounts.
Zoom Enterprise (Custom Pricing)
Zoom does not publish Enterprise prices. The plan is for more than 250 licenses and is quoted by Zoom's sales team. It includes everything in Business, plus:
- Meetings with 500 or more participants;
- Unlimited cloud storage for your Zoom recordings;
- A business phone system (Zoom Phone);
- Webinars for 500 attendees and Zoom Rooms;
- Translated captions.
Enterprise bundles higher meeting capacity with Zoom Phone, Webinars, Rooms and unlimited cloud storage under a custom contract.
Which Zoom Plan Should You Choose?
The most immediate difference between Basic and Pro is the meeting-length limit: Basic limits meetings to 40 minutes, while paid plans allow meetings of up to 30 hours. Paid plans also add cloud recording and unlimited AI notes.

Cloud storage can run out on accounts that record often. The 10 GB per user on Pro and Business is pooled across the account, so a Business account with 10 licenses shares 100 GB, according to Zoom's cloud storage documentation.

What Happened to Zoom Business Plus?
Zoom Business Plus is no longer one of the Workplace meeting plans. Zoom now sells it on its Zoom Phone pricing page as a bundle of Workplace Business and a US and Canada Unlimited phone line.
Business Plus costs $29 per user per month, or $24.50 billed annually. Pro Plus, the same bundle built on Workplace Pro, costs $24 per user per month, or $20.50 billed annually.

Zoom Discounts for Nonprofits, Education and Healthcare
Nonprofits
Zoom gives eligible nonprofits 50% off Workplace Pro, Workplace Business, the Large Meeting add-on (up to 1,000 participants) and Zoom Webinars (up to 5,000 attendees), on annual plans only. The Zoom Cares page lists the conditions: the organization needs 501(c)(3) status or an international equivalent and an operating budget of $10 million or less.
Education
Zoom's education plans are billed annually and require at least 20 licenses:
- School and Campus: $10 per user per month, with 300 participants per meeting;
- School and Campus Plus: $15 per user per month, which adds Zoom Phone;
- Enterprise: custom pricing for larger institutions.
Healthcare
On Zoom's healthcare pricing page, Pro costs the same as the standard plan: $16.99 per user per month, or $14.16 billed annually. To enable HIPAA compliance, Zoom requires a paid plan and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Business and Enterprise healthcare plans are quoted by sales.
